Hello there, everyone! You’ve wandered in before I’ve had a chance to spruce the place up a bit, but no worries. You’re as welcome here as anywhere. Put up your feet, have something cool to drink, and let’s have a nice, relaxing chat.

I’m TJ and this is where my professional self will be living from now on. I work in online marketing/social media strategy/web 2.0 public relations/whatever else they’ll think to call it next. Personally, I just call it connecting people with the things they care about. There’s no magic to it; it’s elbow grease and learning and trying new things, just like any other kind of work. But it is the work I love to do, which is good for everyone involved.

Soon I’ll be filling this space with what I hope are more-than-ramblings on social media, PR, book publicity, the publishing industry, grammar annoyances, internet memes, and New York life. You’re welcome to comment and chat with me, argue with me, and even throw some virtual punches at me, if it comes to that. (But I don’t think it will.)
